Time is flying.. and it's hard to catch up

I just logged on and saw that my last post was on June 22. Not a day goes by when I think to myself "I really need to catch up on the blog".. but for some reason I don't sit down and do it. My lack of posting I see as a good thing, instead of sitting down in front of the computer and spending an hour or so working on the blog.. I am spending that time taking care of and playing with my family. When I am not playing with the kids.. I am running around making sure that when they are all awake.. that my slate is clean of responsibilities and I can focus on them.. so needless to say.. I have been neglecting the blog. .but all for very very very good reasons.

Stay tuned for a year in the life of Ava and Ronan Tullis.. and perspectives from big brother Jack.. who I think will be allowed to type his own message. We will be sure to include lots of photos because this year has surely been an adventure and then some.

Two squeezes to all of you.

My Dear Babies!

My Dear babies.. you are now six months old and I have to ask myself where did the time go? It seems like just yesterday, I rolled over in bed and asked Daddy if he wanted to have babies today.. and he handled it like a champ.. just like he does everything. I can't believe how lucky our family is to have you in our lives. The two of you bring so much joy and laughter into our house, you allow Jackson to be a big brother to you, and you make everyone smile.

My favorite times are all of the times. Honestly, you cry.. and I love making you feel better..and it makes me laugh that you smile when you see my face. I have seen you grow from fragile little infants to these round happy babies. The way you interact with each other.. the way Ronan flips himself upside down to see you makes me laugh... Ava, the way you greet Daddy and I in the morning with your crazy kicks, your beautiful smile and the crinkle in your nose... makes every morning worth waking up. Ronan, the way you start getting really excited and then start laughing when everything is quiet.. makes me happy that you are living in a world that makes you so happy.

The past six months have been some of the best times in my life and you make my dreams come true. Jackson said to me today, Mommy... we found a house that didn't have any love in it and we just filled it up with gallons and gallons of love.. and he is right babies!!! We did fill this house up with love.. Love for Daddy.. love for Brother.. Love for Lindsey and tons of love for the two of you.

Thank You Babies for making me a Mommy again.. for giving Daddy the opportunity to be the greatest Dad he can be.. and giving Jackson the opportunity to be a role model for you. Please don't grow up too fast.. I am trying to cherish every moment we have together.. and would hate for time to slip away too fast.

I love you so much Babies! Sleep tight.. we will see you in the morning!

Time flies when you are a peanut almost 5 months old

Mom is really really sorry she hasn't posted in a long time, and WE apologize that we always have to start our posts off with an apology... because SHE of all people has her hands full.

The last post you saw was from Easter. Mom and Dad brought us down to CT to have a proper Easter Sunday with the Pelloni Family.. Proper including the Easter hats.. as you could have seen from the picture. We spent a night at Grampy's house and then headed over to Great Gramma and Pop pop's house for the Italian Easter Sunday. We were really excited to meet more cousins we hadn't met before, Sonny and Skylar. Brother and I really put our cute on for that day... I don't know what happened to him... he looked like he should have been on the home page of baby gap. From what I hear, Mommy had a two cocktails and went to Janie and Jack.... and went a little crazy.

We have been on a constant adventure.... our Nanny takes us all sorts of places. We go to the park and out for walks as much as we can. She takes us to the mall for walks on rainy days... and don't worry she doesn't let anyone touch us... so we don't get the piggy flu. Mommy and Daddy have gotten a little more courageous with us too... they took us to Boston.. and they took us to the soccer field one night.. in hopes that they could rotate on and off the field.. That made us LAUGH... or cry... Thank God we had freinds there that could help out... and Mommy didn't really get any playing time in.

Brother has rolled over.. yep it's true.. the pudgie kid I share a room with, flipped from his belly to his back... everytime he does it he gets a little mad and then Mommy or Daddy comes flying up the stairs to plug him in and put him on his belly again. (For all of you who are freaked about the belly thing.. our Dr. told us to do it) As for me, my big milestone... well.. I wouldn't call this a milestone.. I would call it a lifestyle change.. I am no longer a cranky baby.. not even a little. Mommy puts me to bed with my eyes wide open.. and I doze off... through the night. Brother does too.. but he has always been easy going. I realized that you attract more bees with honey.. and turned a new leaf.. now I smile.. coo... and laugh.. and I don't give Mommy or Daddy any trouble when its time to go to bed... I do get a little crabby when my pants are wet... but wouldn't you? We are officially eating food.. apples, bananas, pears and rice...oh and peas, sweet potatos and carrots. We have been doing a pretty good job of it... I really really like it.. especially the peas which grosses Mommy right out.. she hates peas!

Big brother has been spending more time with us lately which has been nice.. Sometimes he takes me into his room without Mommy or Daddy knowing about it.. we giggle about it because they freak out when I am not in my bed and they find me kickin it with big brother.

We have been spending alot of time with our "Aunties" and "Uncles".... I put this in quotes because they are who we adopted as Aunties and Uncles.. in our house everyone is family. Uncle Rob who tends to like brother better... has got a little crush on me... I have alot of fun with him... he bounces me on his knee like crazy. Aunty Tracey comes over every Thursday to play with both of us... and she just plays and plays with us.. it's so much fun we get SOOO much attention! Grammama comes over too!!! Lucky for us we have LOTS of grandparents.. and right when we start to miss one.. someone shows up to spoil us with love! Grammama comes over as a pinch hitter for our parents when they need her.. she's the best.. and she thinks we are the funniest babies alive...well except for Adelaide..she's the real funniest...and we have to give a shot out to Aunty Yo and Uncle Jason who trek over here from the seacoast to hang out with all of us.. Aunty Yo always talks about having all sorts of trouble up her sleeve with me..and Uncle Jason just carries me around like a pro.. ever since my 3rd day on the job he's been doing that.. pretty impressive.. huh? WE LOVE Aunties and Uncles.. and we LOVE when they come visit.. so if you are one of those people.. please come visit us soon.

Speaking of pinch hitting.. we are Red Sox fans in case you were wondering.. Brother has already grown out of his first red sox shirt.... and me.. I just wear mine to earn points from Daddy (I am trying to get a wooden play set to put next to the ponies).

We did celebrate our first Mother's day with Mommy.... but practically slept through the whole day.. I guess not a terrible thing right? We did enjoy Mommy's smile that day... and Daddy's birthday was this week. We know he appreciated brother's 5:22 wake up call after he went to bed at 3am.

We will be 5 months old next week and time has really been flying in the PBT house. Everyday is a new adventure for us and we see Mommy and Daddy smile like crazy at the two of us. We have started playing with each other a little more and we are definitely laughing alot more. We are really lucky to be part of this family, it's full of love and laughter.. and we are really lucky that Mommy and Daddy have such amazing friends and family. Life is good when you are a Tullis Twin!

Next month we are getting Baptized.. and we think we may be holding onto our bottles, rolling over, talking more..laughing more and maybe even giving smooches who knows.

Ponies and Grampies and Mommies oh my

I know it's been a while since you have seen a post. Mommy claims she is busy.. but honestly, I know she can find the time between taking care of us, working a full time job, taking care of Jackson, doing 1st grade homework, fixing dinner, and finding time to give Daddy some smooches.. there has got to be time in the day to update this blog so that you all ya'll can see what my sister and I are up to.

Seeing that it's been a month, I know I am going to leave some things out.. if you are curious... just give us a call and I can fill in the gaps.

I think we have to move...our yard is NOT big enough for all the ponies my sister has won from my Dad.. Everytime she starts crying.. Daddy bets her a pony and she stops crying... so now, there is no more room in our yard for all of these ponies. I am beginning to realize that she has Daddy completely wrapped around her finger.. she gets ponies.. she gets extra long snuggles.. she gets to sleep in the big bed sometimes.. and Me.. I get the shaft. I get left in my bed.. and I don't get ponies.. I am torn.. do I want a pony.. or do I want a treehouse. As you can see in my pictures.. I am really trying to charm Mommy into getting me a treehouse.. the problem is.. there will be no room for my treehouse w/ all these ponies that are going to be in our yard. I have got my smile down! Watch out Ladies.. Ronan Tullis (yes that's me) is a CHARMER.. a little crinkle of the nose.. a little crooked smile and I can turn you to mush.

Mommies- Mommy is no longer with us 24 hours a day 7 days a week.. she had to go back to work... for a couple of weeks we had alot of fun with Grammy Pantz, Grammy Fudge (Formerly Grammy T), Aunty Kathy, Aunty Yo, and Mommy. Everyone came in to have their turn at taking care of us, while Mommy got her feet wet with work again. Our Nanny, Tina, started a couple of weeks ago and she is wonderful. She sings to us, dances with us, and is always trying to make us happy. Frankly, I think I have one up on my sister with Tina, MUSH.. MUSH.. I kid you not.. I turn her to mush when I flash her my smile. My sister.. she doesn't have the charm factor.. she has the cute factor going for her. We love spending time with Tina and we feel very lucky that even though Mommy and Daddy are working... we sometimes get a quick visit, hug, kiss or snuggle with them during the day because they work from home when they aren't on the road.

Grampies- You wouldn't believe who has come to visit us in the past month.. first.. our Big Poppity (Grampy Tullis) came to visit us.. Ava as usual tried to steal the show with her tears... and it worked.. I wouldn't be surprised if she got a pony from him too. I WISH she would just think of me for once and get a treehouse out of the deal. Most recently, we were visited by our Great Grampy Vadney and his "lil doggie" Suzette! We had a great time visiting with him!!! He has moved back here from Florida, so we are going to be spending alot more time with him... which is great.. we love spending time w/ Great Grampies.. they are really smart and I am hoping they can teach me some tricks they learned back in the day.

Milestones-You may find some of our milestones trivial, but we get really excited about them. I am a little disappointed that Mommy didn't get shots of all of them, but hopefully she will have them next time. We are both smiling up a storm. I think Mommy is the funniest person alive.. she makes faces at me no matter what time of day it is.. Daddy.. he sings so badly.. I can't help but laugh! Sissy- she's smiling but doesn't have quite the sense of humor I have. She's happiest in the morning.. after 4:30, you don't know who you are going to get.. you could get Glinda the good witch.. or you could get Elphaba the bad witch (who is really just misunderstood.. another story for another day). I am LOVING my hands.. I play with them and try to suck on my fist... Ava loves her pigs.. she is always kickin kickin kickin when she gets excited. Mommy is now giving us cereal in our bottle with every meal and has started giving us some apple baby food mixed with cereal from a spoon. I like that ALL of the time.. my Sister.. not so much.. if she is Glinda.. she loves food.. if she is Elphaba she doesn't like anything. Sorry to disappoint.. we have not said our first word, taken our first steps, eaten our first pizza, or had our first beer (although we were tempted on St. Patty's day.. what do you expect from me.. my name is Ronan Sean Tullis.. however the only pot of gold I have is the one I leave in my pants for Mommy and Daddy)

Although Ava may have my Daddy wrapped, he is preparing me for baseball season.. I won't be one of THOSE kids who doesn't know what is going on.. I have everything I need for opening day.. w/ the exception of a beer mug and a hat. My Dad is also teaching me how to be a good man.. maybe a little early.. but I have gotten some great lessons from him on cleaning up after dinner and doing laundry. He is always running around helping Mommy.. we hear I love you alot.. and thank you so much alot around here.. Team Tullis is a strong team and Mommy is lucky to have the help she does because we make a MESS!

Enough out of me.. it's time for you to see how cute we are.. and to see all of our adventures.. ooooh.. I forgot to tell you.. we went to Portsmouth and saw the Ocean for the first time.. If we don't move to a horse farm.. I am lobbying for Portsmouth.
